Honolulu Community Action Program has launched a new employment services program designed to help unemployed and underemployed individuals find jobs.

The program, called Na Lima Hana Employment Core Services, will work with people on Oahu in areas of job preparation and development for eligible low-income individuals in need of finding work. It is backed by a one-year $120,405 grant from the City and County of Honolulu.

This program is being managed by James Upega. James previously was a community worker at our HCAP Kalihi-Palama District Service Center. He is very excited about making an impact in this area of our community.
