HCAP is Featured in PBN’s Nonprofit Strategies Column

PBN features Tehani Diaz in Nonprofit Strategies

Tehani Diaz, our Planning and Development Specialist, was recently featured in an in-depth interview with Pacific Business News. In “How I logged my nonprofit onto social media” Tehani shared the story of HCAP’s decision to join social networks like Facebook and Twitter, while revamping its entire communication strategy. A few quotes from the article in the Nonprofit Strategies section:

“We realized that in today’s society it is really important to have social media. It goes hand in hand with a nonprofit like ours in that it’s a very cost-effective and efficient way of communicating, not only with our clients but with the general public who may not know what we do.”

“We want to be able to create dialogue and have more conversations through our social media presence. We’re also re-vamping our website, which will help that goal as well. There, we’ll be doing a blog and connecting all of our forms of social media.”

Tehani joined HCAP in mid-2013 and has been driving much of our social media in addition to her planning and development activities. Do her a favor and please Like HCAP on Facebook and follow HCAP on Twitter @HCAPhi!
