Today, 10/07/2021, Honolulu Community Action Program, Inc announced its sponsorship of the USDA Child Care Food Program. Meals will be made available to enrolled children/clients at no separate charge without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability. Parents'/clients' income determines the amount of money USDA will reimburse us to provide meals to enrolled children/clients. The income eligibility guidelines listed below are used to determine our reimbursement from USDA. Children/clients from households whose annual income is at or below these levels are eligible to be counted for free or reduced-price meal reimbursements.

In accordance with Federal civil rights law and U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) civil rights regulations and policies, this institution is prohibited from discriminating on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, and reprisal or retaliation for prior civil rights activity. (Not all prohibited bases apply to all programs.)

To file a program discrimination complaint, a complainant should complete a Form AD-3027, USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form which can be obtained online at: https://www.ocio.usda.gov/document/ad-3027, from any USDA office, by calling (866) 632-9992, or by writing a letter addressed to USDA. The letter must contain the complainant's name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation.
